Premio EPS Plasma PhD Research Awards a Martina Salvadori
Martina Salvadori (PhD student in Accelerator physics during the XXIII cycle) won the PhD Research Award for her thesis on "Advanced time-of-flight diagnostics for real-time characterization of ions accelerated by high energy lasers” carried out in a jointed doctoral program between La Sapienza university (Rome), the Institute National de la Recherche Scientifique (Montréal) and the ENEA research center in Frascati.
The EPS Plasma Physics Division Board grants annually up to four prizes to young scientists from the 38 European countries associated with the EPS in recognition of truly outstanding research achievements associated with their PhD study in the broad field of plasma physics. The awardees will give an oral presentation of their works at the 48th EPS conference (June 27 to July 1 2022: https://www.epsplasma2022.eu/ ).
